Most surveys and consultations show that many educators feel sustainability is an area they need training in.
SEEd offers courses to help fill this gap:
We run a very successful’ Changemaker – Facilitating for Sustainability’ course that is offered each year and can be adapted to an organisation on request.
The National Sustainable Schools Conference is an event which we run in a different regional location each time, in collaboration with local partners. The day is accompanied by an online conference to help reduce carbon footprint, but also to share practice from around the UK.
Our approach is that real change in practice requires an action learning/action research approach and needs at least 30 hours CPD per year, practice and reflection. We also know that bringing people together from a variety of settings can really stimulate innovation and creativity, or social learning.
