Estate Ranger

Salary: £25,582- £27,969p.a. (PG 7)

Plus Local Government Pension Scheme, 36 Hours per week

The Christchurch and East Dorset Partnership is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join the Ranger team at Moors Valley Country Park.

Working as part of the Ranger team you will be responsible for the management of the natural and recreational areas of the country park.

You must have experience of; working at a busy countryside site, managing play and other recreational facilities, organising contractors and habitat management.

You will need to; love working with people, have a good knowledge of the countryside and countryside recreation, have good practical skills, be able to multitask and be an excellent communicator.

Moors Valley Ranger

(Visitor Services)

Salary: £28,759 – £30,985 p.a. (PG 8)

The Christchurch and East Dorset Partnership is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join the Ranger team at Moors Valley Country Park.

You will be responsible for the delivery of Visitor Services to 750,000 visitors at this busy Country Park. You will act as a Duty Ranger ensuring that visitors to MVCP are provided with services that exceed their expectations.

The MVCP Ranger Team, although based at MVCP, will be required to travel to and / or work from other locations as business requires.

You must have experience of; working in a visitor centre/visitor attraction, leading staff and retail management.

You will need to; be highly organised, be a good multi-tasker, love working with people, have an interest in the countryside, have a flair for developing retail opportunities, be good with technology and above all, have a passion to deliver high quality visitor services.
