Want help implementing the new curriculum? Want to make it motivational and exciting? Want to improve learning outcomes?

This new course will enable you to develop practical and creative ways to implement the new National Curriculum alongside responsibilities for specifying a School Curriculum. There will be a strong focus on sustainability, giving school leaders an opportunity to create an exciting learning experience for all pupils that is both relevant and motivational. Future proof your students.

This course has been successfully piloted at the National Sustainable Schools Conference 2013, and with the Ministry of Education for the United Arab Emirates.

Delegates will participate in:

  • activities for auditing their current curricular work;
  • activities to run with staff (staff meetings or INSET days);
  • using frameworks to build their curriculum;
  • exchanges of ideas and approaches with other teachers and experts;
  • workshop webinars and live discussions;
  • reviewing resources and information on sustainability.

With just 1 hour a week over 2 months, whenever you have time, participants will build a draft school curriculum with a focus on sustainability. You will be invited during the coming year to participate and share your new and exciting curriculum at SEEd events.

This is a fully facilitated course. Your facilitators are Ann Finlayson, CEO of SEEd and ex teacher, and Angus Willson, Geographer, educator and consultant focusing on curriculum making and leadership. Plus other experts will be joining throughout the 10 weeks.
Join in for just a 1 hour, whenever is convenient, each week.
