Children Against Global Warming is a website that runs a petition urging the government to do everything they can to reduce CO2 emissions.

CAGW was set up by Kevin Smith, a film writer/director. He decided to set up CAGW when he found out that not much was being done to combat global warming. Kevin decided that a huge petition was needed to raise awareness, but said that it should only be signed by children and their parents. After all, he pointed out that it is their future in jeopardy, not ours. Therefore, he set up CAGW to get signatures for the petition, and to spread awareness of global warming by encouraging schools to play their part.

A 12 year old called Laurel presented an appeal on the CAGW website, and has now spoken at several important climate change events.
