Interclimate Network is a charity which mobilises the energy and creativity of young people, inspiring them to become active citizens and leaders in sustainable, low carbon, economic development.
Their aims are for young people to have:
- Developed greater understanding of the impacts of climate change and resource depletion in both the UK and internationally
- Gained relevant skills, including leadership skills, to play an active role in the emerging green economy
- Contributed to an international ‘learning network focussed on encouraging an interchange of experiences, ideas and practices’
They have a range of projects on offer to secondary schools, including Climate Voices, Model Climate Conferences and Your Resourceful Future. You can find out more about Interclimate Network and how your school can get involved by visiting their website.
