Putting sustainability at the heart of learning, learning at the heart of sustainability, and sustainability at the heart of everything.

SEEd works for change – supporting change makers, changing places and changing systems. We train teachers to become change makers, train secondary students to become young change makers, and can help your school become sustainable. We advise governments on sustainability education, partner with UNESCO and Co-Chair Our Shared World. Together, with you, we can to turn that reach and expertise into impact and support.

SEEd Sustainable Education

Why us?

SEEd has been developing and piloting tools that bring about real change for over a decade and is ready to scale up. There are no simple ‘fixes’ and we know that. What we can do, together, is build a resilient and sustainable world with learning and sharing at the heart of it. Now is the time to support SEEd.

Why now?

We live in a time of great environmental and societal change and crisis. Young people, and many others, are worried, want something to happen, and to play an active part in making their present and future better; we can’t wait to build a truly sustainable world – now is the time.

SEEd Environmental Education

Why you?

We need to build that world together – no one can do it alone. We need your support, and involvement in learning, to make the changes that will guarantee a sustainable future for everyone.

Who we are

We’ve come a long way since Sustainability and Environmental Education (SEEd) was established as a registered charity in 2008. Since then, we’ve been working with organisations, schools and educators to identify, promote, and support environmental education and education for sustainable development in the UK.
