NSSC 2017 Workshops and Stalls information

Workshops

SEEd are inviting organisations and individuals with a key focus on sustainability to host innovative and inspiring workshops at this year’s conference. Workshops should show how children and young people can participate more fully in ESD and Sustainable Schools, and how this can make the world a better place now and in the future.

Workshops must last 1 hour 15 minutes and can be suitable for educators or students, or ideally both to exemplify intergenerational workshop. SEEd looks for workshops that stimulate discussion and interaction. Any presentation should not be more than 15 minutes. Participants will be asked 2 or 3 questions at the end to help with their reflection and action planning.

There is a limit of 14 workshops so please contact Poppy on ssacoordinator@se-ed.org.uk if you would like an application form. We always look forward to reading the exciting, diverse ideas for schools we receive.

Share Fair

SEEd are also inviting organisations and individuals to have a stall in the Share Fair at this year’s conference if they wish to promote their sustainability education activities. Approximately 200 educators, young people, NGOs and businesses from across the country will join together in ‘learning for sustainability’ making this conference a great opportunity to reach new audiences.

There is limited space for the stalls so please contact Poppy on ssacoordinator@se-ed.org.uk to register your interest as soon as possible.

The cost of hosting a stall includes entry to the conference for two delegates (standard = £80 per person) with lunch and a table in the main foyer area.

Prime location                       – £250 (3 available)
